Did this resolve by sending direct from exchange, or did the log
show an issue, let me know.
I recently upgraded to 7.2d-12. I also downloaded
tnef.exe and placed it in c:\surgemail directory. Then I set
g_winmail_fix “true” (followed instructions here: http://netwinsite.com/tnef.htm).
I had some test messages with winmail.dat attachments
already in my test mailbox, but they did not convert after
logging out & back in. I then tried fwding some messages
with those attachments, and they are still showing
winmail.dat as the only attachment.
I then restarted Surgemail & checked both of the above
methods again, still same results.
Do I need to send a test message directly from an
Exchange server to replicate the winmail.dat issue? Or am I
missing something else?
